During the Black Market Raid I was using a helicopter to provide aerial support for those on the ground.

Upon taking enough damage that required me to land, I did so outside of the area in order to repair the helicopter and then return to my previous role.

During the repair animation I began taking damage from a unseen combatant which continued upto the end of the repair and me attempting to get back inside the helicopter in order to take off during which I was killed.

First of all show your whole POV where you were inside and you started getting shot inside.
Second, buddy it’s not how it works, look at ER 1.2. I don’t know what you thought was gonna happen but you started getting shot inside the zone and then you Fail RP because running outside the zone to avoid a fight is prohibited.

Per Event rules 1.2: It is forbidden to shoot into the Event Zone from outside or shoot from inside the Event Zone to outside. (Exception: A player may be shot outside the Event Zone if they were previously engaged within the zone.) | Refinement 30 Minutes

Based on your explanation, you were providing aerial support within the zone and taking damage, then landed outside the zone. They are absolutely allowed to engage you outside the zone, if you were previously engaged inside the zone.

If you were never in the zone, they would not have been allowed to shoot at you. If this is the case, you are welcome to provided full POV on an additional thread to prove that.
