I believe I was wrongfully jailed, which caused me to miss the RP situation I was involved in and lose my paycheck. I was jailed five minutes before pay, so I essentially worked for an hour for nothing. The jail time was because I posted proof of a member from Trey’s family on his alt for combat logging. I was punished for looting during the gunfight, but the fight was already over—you can clearly see in the clip that it was a LEO who misfired at me. I don’t understand why I’m being punished for just trying to do what’s right. I was punished mid-RP, and it could waited until the situation was at least finished. If I did anything wrong, I was in FIB conducting a felony traffic stop. when this happen to while making a video for media. below is th situation mirza was the guy in red pants from lspd.

Firstly, i know i am not involved per say with the punishment issued, but I was involved in the discussion of the forum prior to punishment being issued, and being Chief curator of State, i believe my response is justified.

I can understand your frustration with the punishment, but as stated previously to many people in conversations and chats, when a POV comes to forums, they are judged and punished per the rules, and that rule is black and white and leaves no room for judgement. At the time that the looting occurred, there was still gunfire happening in your vicinity, the rule does not state that you have to be the one being shot at, it just state during a gunfight. This had absolutely nothing to do with who you put the forum in on, I CAN HONESTLY PROMISE YOU THIS.

I can honestly tell you that I am not a fan of that rule, as i believe that if you decide to patch or loot during a gun fight, you are choosing to take yourself out the fight for the time it takes to do so, and opening yourself up to be shot while indefensible. This is something that can be discussed for change, but at the moment, as it is a rule, it must be upheld properly.

As for the lack of checking to see if someone is in an RP scenario, I personally am indifferent on this. I honestly feel as if a punishment is issued due to a rule break, it is not the requirement of admins to check on what is going on with that player at that specific time to judge if the timing of the punishment is convenient. Thats just my opinion and I am not trying to open an argument with anyone, just simply stating my side to represent my position as well as another admin that was involved in the conversations of the punishments prior to approval.

can i just touch on the last part if i may when you punish mid rp it makes something that is real not real when i just poof am gone what if i get sent to refinement putting someone in cuffs then that person is left there like that makes no since in my opinion your creating a dangerous situation thank you for your input i guess there should be a limit defined in rule on how far awy they were like 2 blocks away from me or please work on getting the rule worded properly to avoid this in future thank you for ur time

I believe Fish has already covered why you were jailed, but I also wanted to address a few points from my perspective.

Your jail time was issued because you committed a rule violation. It had nothing to do with any family I'm associated with.

During the POV review, both you and ID 42 committed rule breaks. When reviewing footage, I address every rule break I see, regardless of who is involved. If someone is actively breaking the rules in a POV, I will take action accordingly.

The suggestion that I punished you because one of my alternate characters is in a certain family is simply untrue. My decisions are based on the evidence and the server rules, not on personal associations.

I have always aimed to be fair and consistent with every punishment I issue. If I make a mistake, I acknowledge it, compensate the player where appropriate, and apologise if necessary.

I'd also like to address the ongoing narrative that I'm simply trying to protect my alternate character's family/gang. That is not the case. I apply the rules consistently, regardless of who is involved, whether they're in my family, another family, or no family at all. If anyone in that family had committed a rule break that was visible in the POV, they would have been dealt with in exactly the same way.
