1. Why do you want to be an administrator and no longer RP?
I got around 290 or more hours in the city and during that time i've seen a lot. rule breaks happen more than people think and yeah sometimes staff catch it but a lot of the time it just gets missed because there's only so much coverage at once. i used to be an admin assistant here before and i genuinely loved being part of the team. i won't lie about how it ended, i got 3 warnings and was removed. that stung and it should have. i reached out to the higher admins, apologized properly and took some time to actually reflect on where i went wrong. i'm not reapplying to prove a point, i'm reapplying because i actually care about this server and i want to do things right this time around. i know what the role looks like from the inside and i know what i need to do differently.
2. Why should we consider you for an administrative position, what skills can you bring?
honestly the fact that i've already been admin assistant here is probably the biggest thing i can bring. i'm not walking in not knowing how anything works, i've already been through the process, handled reports, dealt with situations. the difference now is i'm coming back with a clearer head and a better understanding of where i personally need to improve. outside of that i'm someone who stays calm when things get messy, and trust me i've been in plenty of situations in this city where staying calm wasn't easy. i help new players out regularly, not because anyone asks me to just because i remember what it felt like being new. i've also got experience moderating discord servers so dealing with people and keeping things fair isn't new territory for me at all.
3. What experience do you have in the city?
Most of my time here has been in EMS and on the force, and right now i'm actually serving as Deputy Leader of the LSPD which honestly has taught me more than anything else. being in that position you start seeing how the server really runs from the inside, how situations develop, how things can go from small to serious really fast if nobody steps in at the right time. you learn a lot about responsibility, keeping people in line and making fair calls under pressure. outside of the roleplay side of things i've also genuinely connected with people here. one of my closest friends right now is someone i met through this server who lives literally 15 minutes from my house. that kind of thing doesn't happen if you're just here to mess around. this community actually means something to me and that's exactly why i want to be part of protecting it.
4. Your greatest strengths? (at least three)
1) I stay calm no matter how heated things get, i dont let emotions run the situation
2) i'm always willing to help newer players out and make sure they actually understand what's going on.
3) i treat the rules the same for everyone, doesn't matter if its my best friend or someone i've never spoken to
5. Your greatest weaknesses? (at least three)
1) The way my last time on the team ended is something i'm not proud of and its a constant reminder for me to stay disciplined and professional
2) I can be too patient sometimes, i give people the benefit of the doubt a lot which occasionally means i wait too long before actually doing something
3) There are still parts of this servers full history and some older situations i wasn't around for that i'm not 100% caught up on yet
